TODAY IN BEATLEDOM

October 13, 1941 — Neil Aspinall, considered by many to be the “Fifth Beatle”, is born.

The Beatles employed Aspinall as their road manager and personal assistant.  He died in 2008 of lung cancer.

Happy holidays to our Fifth Beatleists! Neil was born in 21 BB and would be 68 today. We all remember that sad day in March 2008 when we lost this great man.

He would have been 69 if he were alive today (Beatles bless his soul)
